Hot hatha flow yoga, also known as “moving meditation,” is one of several kinds of hot yoga offered. Hot yoga has been advocated for some time now by its practitioners as a way to improve balance, flexibility, mental well-being, and possibly even to reduce your weight.

HOW IS HOT HATHA FLOW DIFFERENT FROM OTHER TYPES OF HOT YOGA?

During our 75-minute class, we will take you through 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises. The room will be heated to approximately 105 degrees. Practicing yoga in a heated room encourages your body to improve its circulation, make deeper stretches, and might even help you burn more calories.

Our instructor will guide you through a dialogue designed to direct you through your meditation. Your body “flows” through each movement, unlike other yoga practices where you might pose in sets. Hot Hatha flow yoga is slow-paced and gentle, and will allow you to strengthen your major muscle groups, cells, and joints, thereby helping to balance your body’s hormones and chemistry. Beginners might find the poses are a wonderful starting point for practicing yoga.
